1. Accepting these terms
By accessing or using FlightDan, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you use FlightDan for an organization or another person, you confirm that you are authorized to do so.
2. What FlightDan provides
FlightDan is an informational flight-tracking and trip-coordination service. It can look up reported flight status, save and monitor dated flights in one timeline, optionally group them into trips, send browser or Telegram notifications, and create public share links.
3. Flight information is advisory
Flight information comes from airlines, airports, aviation-data providers, and derived calculations. It may be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate, unavailable, or changed without notice. Notifications may arrive late or not at all.
Do not rely on FlightDan as the sole source for boarding, check-in, connection, visa, safety, or time-critical travel decisions. Confirm critical information with the operating airline or airport.
4. Accounts and access
You are responsible for access to your Google and Telegram accounts, devices, browser sessions, and public share links. Provide accurate information where the service asks for it and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. FlightDan may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, providers, or the service.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use FlightDan unlawfully or to harm, harass, impersonate, or mislead another person.
- Attempt to bypass authentication, access another user’s private data, or interfere with service security.
- Scrape, overload, reverse engineer, or automate requests in a way that disrupts FlightDan or exceeds reasonable use.
- Use public links to publish sensitive, unlawful, or infringing information.
- Resell FlightDan or its flight-data output without written permission and any required provider rights.
6. Public sharing
Anyone with a public flight or trip URL may view the information presented there. You are responsible for deciding what to share and with whom. Avoid including confidential or sensitive details in trip and traveler names.
7. Third-party services
FlightDan depends on third-party services including Google, Telegram, infrastructure providers, and aviation-data providers. Their availability, terms, and privacy practices are outside FlightDan’s control. Links to third-party sites do not imply endorsement.
8. Changes and availability
FlightDan may add, change, suspend, rate-limit, or discontinue features. The service may be unavailable during maintenance, provider outages, network failures, or circumstances beyond reasonable control. We do not promise that any feature or free access level will continue indefinitely.
9. Intellectual property
FlightDan’s name, branding, interface, and original service materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Airlines, airports, Telegram, Google, and other third parties retain rights in their respective names, marks, and data.
10. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, FlightDan is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty or right that cannot legally be excluded.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, FlightDan and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses, lost travel, missed flights or connections, lost profits, or losses caused by inaccurate data, unavailable notifications, third-party services, or reliance on the service. Liability that cannot legally be excluded remains unaffected.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service changes. The latest version and effective date will be posted here. Continuing to use FlightDan after revised terms take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
